This idea came about from the History File Book # 002, Famo page 56, were it shows a Famo from the Stug Brigade 210 in Russia winter 41/42. I actually used 72 fuel drums instead of the 55 that it mentioned in the book. Which is still within the tolerance of the trailer. I painted the Famo with Tamiya Panzer gray and used the usual technique of filtering and oil washes followed by dry brushing. In order to achieve a difference in color I added a little Tamiya blue to the Panzer gray for the trailer and used the same technique as the Famo. The Figures were painted using Tamiya, Vallejo and Oils. In order to blend it all together I used different shades of Artist Pigments to achieve the faded and dirt appearance. The Famo is from Tamiya as are the 10 boxes of fuel drums, for those of you that do the math, yes 10 boxes are only 60 drums, the drums in the middle underneath are the old Italeri drums. I also used the Aber detail sets, Cromwell Tarps and Famo Load, Friulmodelismo Track, DES Resin trailer and both Warriors sets.
