ADATS -300

Here are some shots of Frank Huot's ADATS -300 (Air Defence Anti-tank System). It has to be one of the best kits I've ever seen in person, almost 90% scratchbuilt. Included is an "in progress" shot so you can see how much sheet styrene this project of his gobbled up. The ADATS pictured belonged to B Troop, 119 Air Defence Battery Royal Canadian Artillery, in Chatham New Brunswick as it would have appeared in 1994. Part of the deal I had with Frank was that he would get all the refs he wanted, so long as he made one of my Troop's ADATS.

In addition to completely accurate turret, some other details of the model include moveable missile loading platforms, complete interior, diehl tracks, and power-plant unit.
