LCM 3

This is the Italeri LCM 3 finished a a British Landing Craft. I used some spare fittings from the Trumpter LCM 3 to make it a bit more British. Depicts a craft landing troops (48 RM Commando on 6 June). The crew are from the 'Wee Friends' range sculpted by Pete Morton. The troops are a mix of Tamiya and MasterBox converted with the Accurate Armour Infantry set with Hornet and Ultracast heads. Radios are from the excellent Resicast set as is the Deep Wading Universal Carrier Mk II conversion (this one is the older version). The vehicle is form the Headquarters and Defence Platoon, 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade, 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.

Stores and supplies are a mix from SB Scottia, Resicast and the speares box. The B & W pic is courtesy of a Modelling Friend who converted it for me.

It's a very enjoyable kit, well crafted and goes together well.

Painted in acrylics and mig pigments.
