Panzer II Ausf.L, Luchs

I started this project in early 2004. It was on an off for a for a while and finally finished in 2006. The model was put together from Techmod and ICM Luchs kits. Except some parts from Tamiya and Dragon kits, aftermarket stuffs used including a). ABER - PE, Fenders b). Fruilmodel - tracks c).Clipper - Bosch Headlight d).Royal Model - 20mm ammo box, as well as scratch built additional front plate. The toast rack was scratch built, with several days worth of research, and several months building a master, and another several months going through the process of moulding and casting.

The model was painted with normal 3 tones camouflage with Tamiya acrylic paints, followed by a thin layer of Model Master Flat Clear Lacquer Finish and then another thin layer of Tamiya acrylic White. The white chipped off areas were done with brush and Tamiya acrylic thinner. There were quite some challenges during the build but I am happy with the result.
