Panther A (Early) Panzer Regt/4 Italy

Following on from Patrick Berniers excellent "early A" here's mine, vehicle "I13", a standard gun tank serving as a command vehicle in Italy. Several well known pictures exist of this vehicle, allowing me to model it with reasonable accuracy.

The zimmerit was made with Squadron Green putty, thinned with liquid poly and spread with a tamiya zimm tool. Works a treat. The only additions to the DML Premium Edition Late ausf A kit [all the early features are included in the kit] were some extra detailing around the front hatch stoppers and the gun crutch, a LionRoar metal tow cable and Plus Model boxes for the rear deck. The commander figure is by Dragon. The decals are from Archer.
