LCM3 Royal Navy

This is the Trumpeter 1/35 LCM 3 finished as a RM craft. Crew are from U Models and a few home made efforts. Crates came from Plus Models if I remember correctly. The U Models figures tend to have very thin legs and I thickened up the skipper a bit and added some sea boots. There will be a Bedford truck reversing on to the ramp, when I get the load and decals finished. It was painted in acrylics and mig pigments. There might still be a bit too much damage/rust on this one. I orignally over did the weathering and then repainted it as it stands now.

Both options are included in the kit for a USN or RN craft, which is a nice addition that wasn't included in the Italeri kit, but no markings for the RN. It would be good if one of the AM companies did some RN markings for the LCM 3, LCVP.
