This is a CVR(T) Scimitar of the Queen's Dragoon Guards as fielded on the Salisbury Plain. My references were the Plain-Military and Prime Portal websites and Scorpion Reconnaissance Vehicle 1972-94 (Foss).
Extensive scratch-built alterations and additions were made to emulate the Scimitars currently being used for training and exercises. I used portions of the Eduard PE set and fire extinguishers, tow ropes and modified figures from Accurate Armour.
The model was painted with Tamiya RLM Grey and detailed and weathered with various acrylics, oils and pigments.
The base is foam coated with gesso, colored with pigments and detailed with Silflor Buffalo Grass.
I'm still working on a couple of areas, including Camo net, which in this case, appears to be Barracuda net with added material similar to a Ghillie Suit. I'm not sure what they call it.
