This is one of my dioramas/vignettes that I myself am most pleases with. It would be nice to hear comments from you fellows out there too.
It is Tamiya's Kubelwagen with Eduard's photetch and accesories from various manufacturers. The figures are from Hornet and all are are very lightly converted.
The trees and bushes were made from Verlindens Trees and Hedgerows. They were selected and trimmed a bit with scissors. Next they were painted in appropiate colours, in this case brown tones with lighter shades applied from above with an airbrush. The leaves used on the trees comes from dried flowers usually used for decorating bouquettes. I dont know the name of them neither in swedish, english or latin. They were not painted in this case as I though they looked good as they were. For the leaves on the bushes chopped Oregano was used. They were painted with a heavily thinned mix of green paint. Thinning the paint makes a bit of the original colour tone the green thus making them a little bit differen in apperiance. Differetn shades of green, yellow and redbrown were applied with a brush here and there to make them more realistic and aged. I attached them to the branches by brushing white glue in appropiate places in several turns. This is done before any painting.
