This is the fairly new Cromwell Mk. IV from Tamiya. This was another very popular kit with Haligonian TLers, with at least 6 of us picking up this kit when it arrived in town. Along with the subsequently released Centaur, this is a wonderful kit, with super fit and easy to build. I recommend it highly for novice and experienced builders alike.
Mostly out of the box, I simply added a damaged fender from some left over foil contact lens packaging, MV lens and electric lead to the spot light and a few grab handles. I also added the rear screen, but omitted the (nearly) invisible dorsal screens.
I primed/preshaded the kit with Citadell black spray then oversprayed several light coats of various olive and khaki colours by Aeromaster. Kit decals were used, and finish was completed with chalk pastels.
Stowage is minimal, with Hudson and Allen chain and a resin box from the spares bin.
I spent about 2 weeks on this kit.
Sadly, this kit took heavy damage on the flight to Ottawa for the War Museum show. It currently resides at the 3rd Shelf Home for Retired Kits in my model room.
