Tiger II Koenistiger (Henschel gun turret)

This models represents the Tiger II Königstiger with Henschel gun turret somewhere in Northern France by the end of 1944 summer.

This is an old Tamiya Tiger II (year 1969). This model was remade during the summer of year 2000 changing the barrel by a Jordi Rubio's, adding some photoetched parts and some scratch parts, sandering the whole upper hull to delete the built in tow cables and adding the accurate and realistic Minimeca made. New decals were placed with the help of Microsol. The complete model was repainted with airbrushed Tamiya acrylics and... here it is!
