Panther Ausf. A (early)

This PzKmpfw Panther Ausf. A (early) corresponds to an unidentified unit in Eastern front by the end of September, 1943 after the battle of Kursk.

This is one of the first Ausf. A sent to the battle. Some Ausf. D details can be observed (on turret mainly).

The model is an Italeri of year 2000, scale 1/35 with its own awful "zimmerit" which has to be "worked " deeply over all by sanding many of its surfaces (too thick).

The model has been detailed with Jordi Rubio's metallic gun barrel, Aber photo-etched parts, Minimeca towing cables and radio antenna.

Has been airbrushed with Tamiya acrylic paints.
