LRDG Ford F30

Here is a conversion of the Tamiya FAT into a Ford F30 of the Long Range Desert Group. The build-up article can be found at http://www.missing-lynx.com/articles/britain/gdlrdg/gdlrdg.htm

This is the fully completed kit with ground work and armaments added. Since completing the kit, the tires have really begun to split. I ordered a set of resin tires from the tank workshop, and found these to be direct copies of the tamiya item, right down to the split seam moulded the sidewall. Nice work guys!
