I'm a 51 year old Australian. As a teenager I built WW2 period model aircraft. About 10 years ago I built a Tamiya Tiger tank and over the past few years, instigated by my daughter, we have been building a 1/48 scale model railway with an Aussie timber mill theme in honour of my father who ran a saw mill in the 50's.
I've just submitted my first Sherman to this great website and have had some encouraging feedback and comments. My next project will be a Dragon Firefly Vc.
