I like to build primarily WW2 German AFV's but also build (in lesser quantity) allied AFV's just to show what the Germans were shooting at, and for comparitive sizing.
I got back into the hobby about 6 years ago primariy due to a video game called "Iron Storm". The game is a simple WWII campaign simulator where you choose German, American or Japanese for which country you play. You upgrade your weapons as the years go along based pretty much on the real weapons. So I went out to buy a Tiger tank and without knowing anything bought the Tamiya "Otto Carius" Mid Tiger which was on clearence sale. I took one look at the detail and put it aside deciding to dust off my skills before building it. Now I'm back into the hobby full force and have built 12 models up to this point. This site has been a great resource for improving my skills and for information in general.
Currently working on the Tasca Panzer II L, Tristar Flakpanzer 1 and DML SdKfz 251/9.
