I started to build models when I was 9. That was 34 years ago.

When I was a kid, my old man ran a small plastic factory. I was fascinated by what the engineers were doing, and that something can be created this way. Modelling gave me satisfaction and that seemed like what I would be working on when I grew up.

Unfortunately my old man went out of business when I was a teenager. But modelling was still my favorite hobby.

When I was preparing for college I took a long BREAK. Something like 10 years. During this period my younger brother took up my position as the one who made a mess of my home.

After college and some working years, one day I watch what my brother was doing, I was fascinating agian: the quality of the model my brother was building was UNIMAGINABLE in my childhood.

That was the time when DML launched its AFV. Then I start building models for another 5 years.

Then as my job became more demanding, and I got married, and I found another hobby: building computers. I became an occassional modeller. Only 1 or 2 kits a year.

This year, during the SARS period, I stayed at home most of the time. I surfed the web and found many model-related web-site.

That was when I REDISCOVERED modelling.

Now I am working hard to rebuild my collection. Basically I am now concentrated on British armour, and some US ones.

My current projects are:

Matilda 80% finished
M3 Grant 80% finished
M3 Struat 95% finished
Valentine Tank 70%
LVTA1 40%
Cromwell Tank 5%
Achilles 2%
