75mm Pak 40
Army Museum, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

Photo Series by Joao Henrique

The 75mm Pak 40 was produced in a hurry during first months of 1942 to counter the increasing armor thickness of allied tanks. Weighing 1.450kg, and assembled over two hard rubber tired wheels, the Pak 40 came to rescue of the battered troops in the first phase of the 1942.
This gun, captured from the Germans on the Italian front by Brazilian troops, is on exhibition at the Army Military Museum, Rio de Janeiro. At the time of these pictures, it was possible to see the original dark yellow on many areas in spite of the grease to protect the gun from sea corrosion.
