These are photos of the Ram Mk. II outside the Drill Hall of my old reserve Regiment - the British Columbia Regiment (Duke Of Connaught's Own) - in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
This vehicle has been outside the building for at least 30 years and in its time it's been crawled on, painted with grafitti, and suffered the elements. But as you can see it's in reasonably good condition all things considered. Ironically, some of the damage was caused in 1992 by the Engineers from CFB Chilliwack when the tank was to be removed for some painting and light restoration (see photos 9 and 23). A large crane was brought in with a flatbed truck one night, but the cable snapped twice and the crane cracked the pavement; so, the tank was sandblasted and painted in place, but during the attempt to move the tank both headlights and their mounts were crushed.
