Warrink Brothers

 Message me  My content

We were born on the 2nd of april in 1980, Eelke came into the world eight minutes after Rutger. We are both students at Leiden University, so we do not have much spare time for modelling, but we are still unmarried and haven't got any kids so that makes up for it a little!

We built our first tank, a Tamiya Abrams, somewhere around 1990, so we might say we have 10 years of experience by now. The truth is, we never got much better in the years that followed and in 1997 we finally said farewell to this hobby, or so we thought. Discovering modelling-related sites on the internet resparked our interest and in late 1998 we started modelling once more, and we have been evolving ever since. Lately we are even beginning to show some symptoms of AMS!

Our main period of interest is World War 2. We mostly build Allied and Soviet vehicles, but we do build axis vehicles from time to time. Currently we have about 20 projects in various states of completion. Our main problem is a great lack of time, our studies eating up too much of it. Needless to say, the stack of unbuilt kits in our cupboard is constantly growing.
