| Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of etched metal for armour and aircraft. Their range covers most popular kits. The Eduard sets are more comprehensive than the after market sets Tamiya offers or the etched metal Dragon includes.
An Eduard sets typically contain parts for:
* the grilles/vents (when visible/applicable)
* small detail parts which are often omitted in kits (eg MG sights, tie downs)
* super detailing parts to enhance or replace existing kit parts (eg replacement hasps, jack clamps, fire extinguisher nozzles, light mounts and assorted clamps and mountings)
* front and rear fenders for vehicles with flat fenders (eg Panzer III & IV,StuGs
* pedals and dash board (with plastic film depicting dials) for open vehicles eg Sdkfz 251, Krupp Protze)
Although the list of parts included appears daunting in fact, the sets are usually worth it should you only use the grilles and a few key parts. You can then use the clamps etc on a kit which needs the extra attention.
