I have always been fascinated by the Polish uprising ever since I saw 'Pudel', a Panther captured by the Gray Scouts.  However, other than Steve Zaloga's Eastern Front book, there were not that many books offering information, less photos, of this conflict.

Several years ago, I found more information on Chwat, a Jagdpanzer 38, online.  In 2000, the Polish language book, Eastern Front, had more photos.

2001 brought with it a new book specifically about the armored vehicles of the Polish Home Army.  That is this book.  In 2002, Wydawnictwo Militaria released a book, Warsaw 1944, on the subject of the uprising.

A very detailed Polish text covers the situation leading to the uprising, the vehicles used, as well as their operations.

Between the covers are 64 sepia colored photos covering many vehicles.  These are eleven photos of three different armored cars, one photo of an anti-tank gun, seven photos of five different cars, ten photos of a halftrack, three photos of three motorbikes, eighteen photos of three different tanks, thirteen photos of eight different trucks.

Broken down into detail, these are:

BAI (1)
Chevrolet 157 (3)
FAI (3)
Kubus (4)
PaK38 (1)
Fiat 1100 (1)
Fiat 500 (1)
Kdf. (2)
Mercedes 170 (1)
Unknown Car (2)
Sd.Kfz.251 (10)
DKW 125 (1)
DKW NZ350(1)
Zundapp KS600 (1)
Jagdpanzer 38 (10)
Panther (5)
Unknown (Borgward RC tank) tank (2)
Borgward Truck (1)
DKW truck (3)
DKW Ambulance (1)
Fiat 508 (2)
Mercedes 1500 truck (1)
Renault (1), Stoewer (1)
Unknown truck (3)

Obviously, a lot of material is covered within a small book of only 120 pages.  It is highly recommended.

1/35th scale plastic kits available as represented in the book;

FAI
Pak38 from Dragon
Sd.Kfz. 251 from Tamiya
DKW NZ350 from Tamiya
Zundapp KS600 from Italeri
Jagdpanzer 38 Early from Dragon
Panther Ausf G. Early from Tamiya
Borgward Ausf. C from Dragon
Fiat 508 vacuum-formed + resin from S-Model

Again, this book is highly recommended if this is your field of interest even if Polish is not your language.
