One of Germany's more versatile combat vehicles, it showed how well it could be adapted to many rolls never envisioned by it's designers. The scope of this book (as the title says) is to show the variants produced on the 38(t) chassis. Unit history and exploits you will not find in this book as this is not what this book is about.

Most of the photographs are factory shots which many are crisp and clear. Some photographs I have seen in other books, but many are new to me especially the factory interior shots.

If you are looking to build a Flakpanzer 38(t), this book has what I believe all the existing interior shots (6 photographs with 11 total of vehicle) of the fighting compartment all in one place. The Aufklarer auf Fahrgestell sadly is represented by 4 photographs. However, the panzerkampfwagen 38(t) neuer Art has very clear photographs showing many details of the basic vehicle with one nice shot showing the engine compartment open.

The Marder III Ausf. H and M are represented here too, but the Ausf. H shots are not as great as what you get for the Ausf. M which includes some fighting compartment shots, one is full page. The Marder II is also included and is represented well here too giving you some nice interior shots of the fighting compartment and drivers area. There are several combat photographs, mostly of destroyed vehicles which might have been used in this book for their rarity as I have not seen these before. The SiG 33 Ausf. H and Ausf. M vehicles again are covered well just like the Marder III's with a good showing of factory interior shots to help many of you who have these kits. They even show one as a Munitions carrier too.

Overall, it's a nice addition to complement your growing reference library if your starting out and are lacking photographs of these vehicles. And as for others who might have extensive references, this book may or may not appeal to you, but for the asking price of $11.95 USD, you cant go wrong here as I see this an excellent value for what you get.
