This is a simple add on to any model. Note that this product was released in 1999. At the moment, there isn't a similar product out there based on the newer kits released since then.
In a Ziploc bag with a cardboard header, we find two perfectly cast Panther roadwheels with their mounting bolts drilled out. Although I suspect they are based on an injection molded product, no knockout pins or seams are found.
After using a razor saw to remove the sprue, less than a minute of file work was needed for both items to have them ready to use.
Panther road wheels were carried as spares but my use will be on a T-34. Yep, there is photographic evidence that the Russians used them.
Comparing them to kit wheels for dimensions, they are quite good matching Tamiya perfectly. However, they lack the detail that the Dragon Panther road wheels have on the reverse side.
An idea for Ultracast would be to cast one perfect and one damaged roadwheel.
There are no instructions included nor needed and this is a useful set. It is recommended as a quality product. Thanks to Ultracast for the sample.
