This is a simple set. Trakz has taken the tires from Trumpeter's BJ-212 kit and reproduced them in resin.
The tires are expertly reproduced and all the detail of the originals is still there. An opportunity to add some more detail, such as air valves and brake line connections was missed.
To use, these tires simply replace the styrene wheel and vinyl tires from the kit. Some excavating may be necessary to the inside of the front tires to ensure that they can turn.
I also was left wondering why no tire was included to replace the oddly shaped spare included in the kit. In any case, some people do not like the idea of casting these parts as is but I find them useful since the vinyl tires are known to split.
