This kit is marketed as an accessory for converting AFV Club's Long Tom and 8'' from a post war specification to a WWII set up. The most important difference is the switch from 5 hole wheels with straight bar cleated tyres to 6 hole wheels with a 'civilian' tread tyre. A lot of folks would buy the kit for these correct wheels alone, but there's also an M1 limber and a few other small detailing parts included.

Having bought two examples of this kit, I find it a difficult product to rate because of the differences between them. One is an exceptionally clean casting, which because of the basic usefulness of the set, I'd be happy to rate at 4 and a half stars. The other is distinctly rough around the edges. Mis-aligned molds meant that the A frame was un-useable and a poor resin mix left a lot of the detail parts for the gun with the consistancy of rubber and a soft patch in one of the wheels, so, more like a 2 and a half star rating.

In conclusion, if you want accurate WWII wheels for your Long Tom, this is the only kit on the market (PSP  market a set with replacement tyres, but the wheels are still the post war type). I'd recommend it, but beware of inconsistant quality.

Note- the example photographed features a replacement A frame added brake lines, dust covers and check chains.
