Dragon's Late Panther Ausf. G from their Smart Kit series is an excellent rendition of the vehicle.  However, TMD's Scott Negron has found a few areas to tweak and he has mastered a slew of bits designed to bring that smart kit to Genius level.

In the familiar ©Ziploc bag with a cardboard header, we find the sprues with the resin parts.  There are absolutely no pits, bubbles, blemishes on the parts.  There is the expected flash to remove.  This is in their familiar strong resin so care should be taken in removing parts from the sprue.  A sharp knife dragged backwards from both sides until the part releases is the best method.  I learned the hard way to resist the urge to snap the part off the sprue and damaged the lower inner edge of the mantlet.  It is an easy repair though.

Aside from the mantlet, you get a sprue with the lifting eyes, a drilled out coaxial MG muzzle (do not use if you plan to depict an AA gun on the cupola), and an ultra thin debris guard.  This part is as thin as the PE sets I have.

The mantlet itself captures the cast look of the original and adds a horizontal casting seam as well as the stepped apertures for the MG and gun sight.  On top of the barrel collar, the correct casting marks are depicted.

This set is a real time saver and simply replaces kit parts without the need for surgery to the donor model.  As such, it is highly recommended and I thank TMD for the review sample.
