This is a relatively old figure kit from Warriors. It depicts a tanker wearing overalls, tanker's helmet and goggles, standing with a cup of joe. The figure is finely detailed, and once cleaned up, very impressive. He is in a natural pose, with a separate head that can be posed to be looking straight ahead, or slightly to the left or right.
Clean up was pretty straightforward, and there was one air bubble on the helmet, and another on his butt. The molding around the rear of his legs is pretty messy. The overalls are pretty baggy, as you'd expect for winter wear, and they look good from the front, and not the back. A little putty and carving fixed them up OK, and that isn't necessary if you place the figure with his back to a wall or tank or something.
The face worked out GREAT! It practically paints itself. I base-coated it in a fleshy pink colour, then used washes of burnt/dark umber oil. A little white/flesh mixture was dry-brushed on for highlights. A very nice expressive face results, with little effort on my part!!
I am still painting the rest of the figure, but it is very nice. Highly recommended, and I was able to produce a nice cup of coffee using some raw umber oil washed into the cup.
