This is a good set of tracks, and probably the best in value as far as after-market Panther tracks go. Kasten's old type of Panther tracks are equivalent in quality yet more expensive, while those from Fruilmodelissmo are better detailed and easier to assemble, they too are much greater in cost. The Tamiya tracks are moulded well in a dark metallic gray styrene and look accurate. Unfortunately the track guide-horns are solid, they should be open (there are only 400, get out the pin vice!), but this is a common problem with all Panther track sets. However, I don't see why anyone would buy a set of tracks for the Tamiya Panther, unless they are building a track changing diorama or something similar, when the kit already comes with a set of perfectly acceptable synthetic rubber ones. Unless one wanted open guide horns, in which case the Anvil, Fruilmodelissmo or the new working type from Model Kasten are the only options.
