This Warriors figure is sculpted by Randall Patton and is also available as part of a 4 man British Tank Crew kit. The figure is posed standing with his left hand on his hip, and right arm resting on some surface. The pose is good, but the weight distribution on the legs is not convincing. Not bad mind you, but not perfect. The tanker is wearing a pixie suit, packing a holstered sidearm, and wearing a beret and headphones.
The sculpting and detail are exagerrated, with overly deep folds in the legs, and a grotesquely realized face. His eyebrows are way overdone, and the face is a caricature. Having said that, the figure is also well detailed, and given the small number of Commonwealth tank crew out there, an acceptable addition to the diorama I have in progress. He is almost 6 scale feet tall, which is a little big, but not horrible (can you tell I like my new scale ruler?!).
The figure comprises four parts, the two arms, head and the rest. The joints between arms and torso require minimal filling and the head fits well in the neck. I have painted the head, and after several tries he looks acceptable. I'll probably have him turned away from the front of the diorama though, because the head is so ghoulish. The pose is not bad, the detail OK, and with some work this is a nice figure to pose with others. I would not recommend this as a stand alone figure for the figure painting crowd!!
