This is a resin upper hull designed to replace the one in the AFV Club Scimitar and Revell/AFV Club Scorpion, which have a late engine deck.

The Castoff conversion depicts the early deck with bolt on intake grills.  They just modified the AFV Club hull and recast it in resin. While those mods are not too difficult to do for modellers with good scratchbuilding skills, it is nice to have an “out of the box” option for those less confortable with such corrections.

The casting is very well done but a few of the bolts are incompletely moulded and will have to be redone with a punch and die set. Also there is some overpour of the resin at the bottom of the casting, nothing serious mind you and easy to clean up.
