Content Submissions
Track-Link is very much a site built by its users. That is, all of the content can be added directly to the site using the built-in content administration tools available when you log into the appropriate section.
There are five types of content that can be added in this manner: 1) Build Logs, 2) Articles, 3) Reviews, 4) Gallery Models. Each type requires that you first log in,for which you need a Track-Link Member Account.
Getting a Track-Link Member Account
In order to add content you will need to obtain a username and password for the authenticated areas of this site. Go to the Join Page and fill out the form. Membership applications are processed by one of the site's volunteer members when time permits. There are three cases where you may not recieve a membership. 1) You entered the an invalid or wrong email address. 2) You entered a non-real name. 3) There already exists a membership under the email address or name.
If you already have an account but can not remember your username or password then rather than applying for a new account use the Retrieve to request your log in details.
Remeber that membership activation and retreival is based on an automatic email system, so keep your email address vaild and up to date.
Logging In
Press "Login" in the top-right of the screen (fig.1). An authentication dialog will appear. Enter your User Name and Password and press the [OK] button. If correct the welcome page for the section you are in will appear. If not correct an "Invalid login attempt!" page will appear with several choices. Select one of these choices to proceed.
Adding Content

For more detailed instructions for addding content to each section refer to the insructions available in each of the specfic sections.
Peer Review Process
Once an article, review or gallery entry has been successfully added then it will be reviewed by one of the site's "peers". A peer is a regular modeller who has been using Track-Link for a long time and is familiar with how the site works and what quality standards are to be met. The peer will work with you on a one-on-one basis in order to obtain the best possible photographs and written information from you. Once your submission is ready your peer will publish it for you.
Questions about this process should be posted in the General Forum.
